Our homemade herbal body powders are mostly soft, absorbant, skin-conditioning colloidal oatmeal, blended with pure cornstarch, powdered rosebuds, slippery elm bark, clay, and other gentle herbal ingredients. Apply anywhere you'd put powder normally - to sooth chaffing, diaper rash, prickly heat and other skin irritations caused by too much moisture or rubbing.
Our homemade baby powder is tan while it's dry, and does darken up a bit when it gets wet, because it's mostly colloidial oatmeal, instead of talc or starch. Don't be alarmed if your baby's wet diaper looks muddy when you take it off - that's the powder doing it's work as an absorbant. Common sense care message: Our natural baby powder cleans up easily, and does not stain. However, because they are not bleached white like commercial body powders, you might use care when applying next to fine white garments, as the color could show through if the clothing becomes damp, from perspiration or other reasons.
Our handmade perfumed dusting powders are softly scented and shimmer with natural mica, for full-body fragrance and shimmer that's lovely yet subtle - never overpowering. Made from a blend of pure cornstarch and powdered arrowroot, our homemade powder glides on like silk, and leaves skin feeling baby soft. Mica colorants are generally non-staining, but see our common sense care message above.
All of our handmade powders are completely talcum powder free.
