Handmade Perfumes, Aromatherapy Balms and Body Sprays
Homemade Perfume in a tin, you say? Why yes! We've mixed our most popular hand-blended fragrances, like warm rich Sweet Earth and exotic oriental Satsuma Orange, into a solid base of beeswax and sweet almond oil. We pour it into a nifty slide-top tin, like lip balm used to come in (way back when... well, I don't want to say how long ago). Just give it a rub with your finger tips to melt it a bit, then apply to your pulse points as you would a liquid perfume.
Why solid perfume? It's practical, and better for your skin. Our homemade solid perfumes will never spill in your purse, and the "bottle" will never break. Small enough to slip into the pocket of your jeans, these are truely portable, wearable perfumes that you can keep with you all the time. Don't leave your perfumes sitting at home on the dressing table, as a decoration in a pretty bottle - have them at hand, where you can use them. Our solid beeswax and sweet almond oil base is nourishing and protective to your skin, rather than stripping and irritating, like the alcohol base used in commercially manufactured perfumes and colognes.
Some of our homemade perfumes are 100% natural, but most of them are really perfumes - very high quality, artificially created perfume oils, just like the rather expensive perfume industry uses. This still makes them 90 - 95% natural, but if you're looking for 100% all natural perfumes, try our homemade aromatherapy balms.
Aromatherapy balms do smell wonderful, but they have a more specific purpose than just pleasantly perfuming your skin. Created with the same moisturizing base as our solid perfumes, these handmade aromatherapy balms are created with pure organic essential oils for fragrance, blended together or stand alone, to alter your mood and enhance your health and your life. Many companies are selling products labeled as "aromatherapy" these days, but check the labels - only the real thing, i.e. true essential oils, distilled from the plant, create the positive affects on your body and mind that aromatherapy is all about. Synthetics may smell like the real thing, but they're really just perfume - all they do is smell nice, they don't help your mood, your mind, your body or your spirit.
And for those who like a softer touch with their personal fragrances, we also offer light, refreshing sprays for body, room and linen. A lighter touch of of our custom perfume oil blends, mixed into a base of distilled water for a refreshing cool spritz after your workout or repeatedly during the day at the office for a burst of uplifting fragrance. These can be spritzed directly into the air to faintly scent your environment, or walked thorough to softly scent your person. My favorite is to give a light spray to the sheets when I make the bed in the morning, for a barely detectable but delightful aroma by the time I go to bed at night.
