A Note About Shipping Charges

I'm making some changes around here to our shipping policy, to better serve my customers.

Rather than rework my entire shopping cart in order to process that items under 1 pound are going USPS and are going to cost $4 shipping, I'm just going to make this statement here for all my customers to read. My shopping cart does not actually bill your credit card until I come through and manually ok all purchases. In that way, I can give discounts, or cancel duplicate purchases from web hiccups, and that sort of thing, without having to go in and void actual transactions with my credit card processing company.

When you place your order, you will get a shipping message that quotes the UPS rate for shipping. However, if you know your package is going to be under a pound, the actual shipping you are going to be charged is going to be $4. Under 5 pounds is going to be less expensive than quoted - above that weight, shipping will be about what the shopping cart quoted.

I've got weights listed on all my items - guestimate about 2 more ounces in weight for packaging and the like, and you can get a good idea if your package is less than a pound. I can get 6 or 7 body gels into a 1 pound package, a handful (quite a number) of lip balms, or 2 body butter tins, into a 1 pound package. You get the idea.
