Athena's Choice Naturals Wholesale Policy

We've had to make some changes in our product pricing and wholesale policies recently, due to changes in raw materials availability and pricing (new sources had to be found for some, at increased prices, and some of the old suppliers have raised their prices.) Rather than list everything I've got on the website with price breakdowns, it's easier for me to simply list the wholesale price break scale:

$1 -$250 = 10% discount off retail price.

$251 - $500 =20% discount off retail price.

$500 - $1000 =30% discount off retail price.

$1001+ = 45% discount off retail price.

Private labeling is available at a small charge.

I am offering soap "logs" at this time, in 2# (approximately 7.5 - 4 oz bars), 4# and 6# sizes, to be sliced into bar sizes of your choosing, or soap shreads for rebatching soap in 1# increments. I am also offering soap "sheets" - a flat square of soap, 2, 3 or 4 pounds in weight, which is ideal for cutting soaps with novelty sized cutters (cookie cutters, etc) or for chunking and blending with clear glycerin soap for "cobblestone" soap. Pricing on bulk soap will be determined strictly by the cost of raw materials - as there is no packaging, and less labor involved for me, this results in a slightly reduced price for you. Shreads will be priced similarly, though at a slightly higher rate (as there is considerably more labor involved), but that will still be about the same as if you had bought bars of the same weight. Soap logs and shreads will be shipped uncured, usually within 48 hours of ordering, depending upon availability of materials, and dated, so that they can be cured the proper amount of time before use or sale. I can't stress enough how important it is to allow these soaps to cure the full 4 weeks in order to reach the best quality and gentleness, which is important if you want repeat customers.

If you do not wish to wait for a 4 week cure time on your soaps, I can do a "hot process" soap, but only in 4 # increments at this time. This soap will arrive harder than the cold process soap, so it will be very important that you cut it immediately upon receipt, and the texture is less creamy feeling than the cold process, but it is ready to sell as soon as you receive it. I do not recommend hot process soaps for shreading and rebatching, as the harder texture does not remelt well.

Glycerin soap is another option, as it is also a "hot process" soap, and is ready immediately.

I am also happy to create special scent blends in any of my products, though I do require a 50% non-refundable, up front payment. I have been left holding the bag on too many specialty orders in the past, with a bunch of product I would not have created for my own sale. It has taken me up to 2 years, in the past, to sell such items, and I simply do not wish to invest that kind of time and raw material again without being sure that at least the cost of raw materials will be covered, should you change your mind about the order. As a small scale, home based business, I simply can't afford to.

I'd be happy to answer any other questions you may have. Email me at info @ athenas choice.com (remove spaces) for the fastest, most reliable response to your questions. While I do take voicemail at 801-965-0636, I often do not have time to check voicemail or answer the phone, as I also work a full time job at home answering (you guessed it) the phone for another online company. (they sell wine racks, not soap heheh.)

Thanks.
